When it comes to eating healthy, most of us can probably agree that planning is half the battle. After all, it is much easier to eat well when we already have a plan in place. That’s why I was so excited to stumble on ScriptureArt and their reusable meal planners! Not only are they a helpful tool in planning out meals, but they are easy to place and use too.
In our kitchen, you’ll find our meal planner right on the front of our fridge, but really, you can stick them just about anywhere in your home – your cupboards, wall, desk, you name it! We chose the front door of our fridge because its hard to miss. This is especially helpful at dinner time when I’m scrounging around the kitchen for meal inspiration. Its a great visual reminder that I already have ingredients in place for a variety of meals that week.
The meal planner also another very important function in my kitchen. I can use it to keep track of all the ingredients I run out of! The helpful shopping list located on the right hand side allows me to quickly right down any ingredient I’m short on as soon as I notice it. This is a huge frustration saver for me because I often realize that I need an ingredient at the last moment – like when I’m cooking the dish that requires it!
Each meal planner also has a food related bible verse on it too. Given that my husband is a youth pastor, I LOVE the food and faith connection! To me, it serves as a great reminder that your meal plan and the foods you eat are just one part of your overall health and wellness.
ScriptureArt has meal planners available in both weekly and monthly formats in a variety of patterns and colors. They also have a variety of other products, including dry erase calendars, whiteboards, cell phone cases, potty charts, key chains and more! All products have inspirational scripture included in their design.
