Foodie Review & Giveaway: MixMyOwn Muesli and Granola

I absolutely love granola and homemade trail mixes. There are so many combinations that make up excellent portable treats that I can munch on when hunger strikes or when I need a little extra boost of energy. So when I was asked to review MixMyOwn Muesli and Granola, I couldn’t say no.

MixMyOwn Set of 3 Healthy Breakfast Pouches

If you aren’t familiar with MixMyOwn Muesli and Granola, please do your self a favor and check them out this week. Not only will you be able to mix and match your own healthy breakfast mix, but you’ll find some fabulous recipes and resources to help you build a deliciously healthy breakfast day in and day out.

I created a very simple mix to start off with. I combined some whole grain honey almond vanilla granola with freeze dried strawberries and bananas, slivers of almonds, and coconut. I kept it relatively simple my first time through because I wanted to make sure the items I combined tasted well together. I was envisioning a beautiful bowl of cereal to perk me up in the morning. What’s better than a few fruits, nuts, and granola? Nothing! Of course, the options were pretty limitless and I loved that many of the ingredients were clearly labeled non-GMO and organic. You can tell this company really strives to provide a quality product.

Once I combined my ingredients, I even got to name it. That’s a pretty cool perk if you ask me. I went with Morning Pick Me Up, although if I were buying this for a friend (which is an AWESOME gift idea for anyone who loves granola as much as I do!), I would totally name it after them.

My Morning Pick Me Up then arrived within just a few days. Definitely a lot quicker than I imagined the process to be and my tummy was grateful. And I was extremely satisfied with how it tasted. My tummy was even more grateful for that.

I doubt my MixMyOwn blend will last very long, but luckily, I can always go back and get some more! I may even be more creative and incorporate some of the more unique ingredients into my mix.
