Its day 3 of our Great Veggie Challenge and hopefully you’ve been following along! As you’ve incorporated at least one new vegetable into your day this week, its likely that you’ve started to notice what makes eating vegetables on a daily basis slightly more challenging than say, grabbing a pre-packaged food on your way to work.
Luckily, pre-packaging your vegetables is a relatively simple process… as long as you have the right tools!
Things like plastic baggies, insulated lunch bags, and food-grade storage containers can all be helpful as you look for ways to add more veggies to your day. And you might be surprised at how little time prepping your veggie-inspired meals or snacks actually takes the night before. Even if you just have 5 minutes to spare, you can make this work for you.
One of the most intriguing storage products I’ve seen lately are these BEABA Portions Containers. Not only will they store your favorite veggies cold or hot, but they’ll prevent your veggie-rich meal from spilling or making a mess while you travel. They are suitable for soups, sauces, dressings, salads, seasonings, you name it! BEABA also specializes in baby food makers, so as you can imagine, your veggie-inspired baby food concoctions can also fit well into these containers. Each is clearly marked with measurements if you need to be precise about your portions and there is plenty of space to label each container with your name, date, or food.
And if that’s not enough, you can also use these containers to store random odds and ends. Of course, make sure you designate it as a non-food container – you don’t want to put food into something you originally used for paper clip storage!
Each container is microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. They are also BPA, phthalate, and lead-free.
