When it comes to yogurt in our house, there really is only one option we consider – Chobani! Its hands down my favorite and has been for a long time. It works well as a snack, a dessert, or even as a part of a main dish. And with the debut of Chobani Champions, my kids are jumping on the Chobani bandwagon with me.
If you aren’t familiar with the Chobani Champions line, you might want to get better acquainted. Just like their more grown-up counterparts, each flavor of Chobani Champions yogurt is made with all natural ingredients and is a good source of protein, calcium, and vitamin D. The biggest differences though between these kid-friendly options and my more adult, regular Chobani is, of course, the flavor and size options available.
Very Berry, Vanilla Chocolate Chunk (okay, this flavor is available in the adult varieties too), Banana Honey, and Orange Vanilla are the four current Chobani Champion flavors available in 3.5 oz containers. The names are obviously more fun than most of the adult Chobani flavors and the serving sizes are a little more kid-tummy approved. Plus, they fit much better in a lunch bag than the original flavors do.
Although my youngest, Ben, enjoyed all the flavors, we were pleasantly surprised to see that my 5 year old, Eli, enjoyed one of the flavors too. He’s not a big yogurt fan, so to see him eat one whole container and then ask for seconds was quiet the win in my book. His favorite flavor? The Vanilla Chocolate Chunk of course! The Banana Honey was a close second.
