Hydration is important all year around, but as the temperature rises, we often become more aware of our need for water.
Recommendations for daily intake vary, but a good starting point for most individuals is the classic 8 servings a day. Yet how do you know what eight servings look like and how can you be sure you’re getting enough?
When the AquaTally team contacted us with their solution, we were pretty excited to try out their fascinating cup that allows you to easily keep track of your daily fluid intake.
Available in 3 different colors, the AquaTally portable cup allows you to keep your drink handy and effortlessly measure the amount you consume. Simply fill your glass to the bottom of the colored band or up to the line at the top of the cup for one or two servings of water. Then once you’ve quenched your thirst with those servings, make a note by moving the white indicator band on the cup so that the black indicator line aligns with numbers found on your glass. All day long you can move the indicator band around to see how well you do at getting your daily servings in. Need more than 8 glasses a day? Use the tracking scale so that each number represents 2 servings instead of one.
This easy-to-use hydration status checker is also top-rack dishwasher safe for easing cleaning and BPA free. You can also use the cup for hot or cold beverages. A handy travel cover is also in the works.
