When we want to go from “flab” to “fab”, there are definitely some areas on our body that we hope change faster or more significantly than others. Unfortunately, these areas are often the most difficult to change and it can be frustrating when we don’t see the results we want.
Luckily, Erin Palinski-Wade, RD, CDE has come along and written the “Belly Fat Diet for Dummies” book to help us target at least one of these areas – our tummies! And although it may seem too good to be true, you really will benefit from implementing many of the recommendations given in this book. Primarily because the advice given is well-balanced and all-encompassing. Don’t let the word “Diet” on the cover fool you. Erin shares meal plans, no-gym-necessary workouts, and nutrition advice to help you not only focus on your tummy area, but your overall health and wellness too.
Like all the other “for Dummies” books on the market, this easy-to-read action plan will really get you where you need to go no matter your current knowledge base or activity level. Erin even breaks it down into three simple plans – the Turb0-Charged plan, the Moderation plan, and the Gradual-Change plan in order to better meet you where you are at. With her guidance you’ll be feeling and looking your best in no time! You’ll even get a few tasty recipes to boot. My favorites include the On-the-Go Breakfast Sandwich and the Whole Grain Bruschetta Pizza recipe. Both are incredibly simple to make and full of nutrients your body needs to be a lean, mean fighting machine!
If you haven’t yet picked up the “Belly Fat for Dummies” book or were on the fence about it, I highly recommend it as a potential starting point on your healthy eating journey. Its a great way to learn about the dangers of excessive belly fat and initiate a plan that will get you to your healthiest, happiest point yet.

I’m most interested in the easy exercises that I can do at home and incorporate into my fitness routines! Thank you!
I would like to check out their diet recipes and food recommendations too.
Have a look at the Paleo diet that I have been using for the past 4 months. Their web site is: http://www.paleodietregimen.com I’m a forty-two year old male and began at 290 lbs. and following 30 days I had lost close to fifty lbs, and I now weigh about 175 and holding. This diet program definitely does work because it mimics the natural diet our ancestors ate which lived sickness free. It’s also called the caveman diet plan.
