Every week the Around the Plate team scores the Internet looking for articles, stories and resources that we feel are thought provoking, empowering, or resonate with our weight-inclusive, non-diet message. We hope you find these articles and resources thought-provoking and potentially supportive of the journey you’re currently on.
Every now and then a major theme emerges as we poke around the Internet for new stories to share. This happened to be the case this past week as we stumbled on post after post related to childhood nutrition and its intersection with intuitive eating, non-diet nutrition, and Health at Every Size(TM) principles.
How we approach nutrition and body acceptance in childhood matters because it ultimately impacts how we view the world as adults. Whether you have kids or simply use to be a kid, there are many great points made throughout these posts that I think will resonate.
