Kristin Stehly, CPT, is one STUFT Mama! Kristin may be a certified personal trainer, but fitness isn’t her only passion! She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, creating nutritious meals, taking care of her twin boys, and of course caring for her oh-so-cool semi-hairless cat (conveniently named Kitty!) Kristin stuffs her day full by wearing many different hats. She is first and foremost a full-time mom, as well as a business owner, fitness instructor/trainer, marathon runner and healthy living blogger. As you can see Kristin has quite a lot going on, but this doesn’t stop her from living a truly active and nutritious lifestyle!! Kristin believes in taking life one day and one bite at a time, along with setting and achieving goals! One of her primary goals is to find balance in life, which is something I’m sure we can ALL relate to! Kristin’s blog documents her journey to find balance, while sharing many inspirational tips and tasty recipes along the way!
Meet Kristin! Our Healthy Eating Champion in the Spotlight!
AtP: How did you start your blogging adventure?
Kristin: I wanted a place that my clients could go to find healthy recipes and workout tips that we talk about. Specifically after I had my twin boys I wanted to share with others new moms how I tried to feed them healthy while trying to balance a healthy lifestyle for myself.
AtP: What is your favorite post up and running on your blog and why?
Kristin: Definitely Perspective- Looking Back. It talks about my struggles to get to where I’m at now and how I stayed healthy during my twin pregnancy.
AtP: Do you have a personal nutrition mantra that you live by?
Kristin: “The better the fuel. The better the performance.” That goes for everything from my marathons to my fitness classes to just living life the best you can.
AtP: What three food do you always have stocked in your fridge?
Kristin: Broccoli slaw, egg whites and unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
AtP: Who or what motivates you to be a healthy, happy eater?
Kristin: My family and my toddler twin boys. I want to be the best mom I can be and lead by example.
